As you progress through the age groups, lots changes, from friendly to competitive, from 5 a side to eventually 11 a side, from no offside to offside and so on. We've put together a page that covers the major changes / points of note for each of the 4 major format changes you will experience over the years, each written by someone for whom the change was relevant recently.
